Congratulations to our Executive Director, Carolyn Evans, for being selected as 1 of only 12 elite animal welfare leaders from across the country to participate in and graduate from Best Friends Animal Society’s and Southern Utah University’s inaugural no-kill Executive Leadership program! This program has been designed to elevate standards in animal welfare and develop leaders in our field.
Participation in programs like this puts Clermont Animal CARE on the forefront of lifesaving innovation, ensuring that we are always pushing the envelope and bringing the best solutions to animal sheltering in our community.
In addition to her full-time shelter responsibilities (her work at Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society is 100% volunteer), Carolyn has spent the last 6 months working with and learning from the best animal welfare professionals in the country.
At Clermont Animal CARE, we believe that professional development is critical to accomplishing a no-kill community. We are steadfast in our commitment to data-driven best-practice and constant improvement.
Thank you to Best Friends for delivering visionary and radical leadership in the animal welfare profession! Clermont Animal CARE is proud to have had the opportunity to participate in this first-of-its-kind program.
